August 16

Hey y'all. sorry I didn't blog last Sunday. I was busy! Haha. Well tons has happened in the past couple weeks. I've gotten a boyfriend, a broken down car, and lots of shock from my parents' reactions at both. It's amazing...prayers ARE answered. Haha.

So school starts next week. Am I ready? NO. UNR is being really difficult to work with. I can't get a hold of my advisor to talk to her about a discrepancy with my AP credits. Oh well, it will all work out.

And I watched a movie today that reminds me of Allan and I. It's hilarious how similar it is. The Notebook. Except I'm not old and he's not old, and we're not married. And we don't have kids, or grand kids, and did I say that we're not old? Haha. Anyways, I am mailing him cookies on Monday because he says he's deprived of my delicious baked goods. Fatty. haha just kidding.

I'll blog later!! Things are going great. =]

August 2

well I was supposed to put this up yesterday. but I didn't. oh well. at least it's getting done.

So many things can change in a heartbeat. that's all I will say about "that."

It's so weird what people can do. What people can commit to, then fail at. What people can do to each other, and still forgive. It's amazing. Are humans unusually forgetful? Or is it compassion? I think it's a mixture of both. When one is hurt, the pain always fades after a while, no matter how much it is denied. It doesn't hurt AS MUCH. It still hurts, of course. But the original searing, blinding pain is dulled by time and thinking. When an apology is given, the hurt one thinks "well, you hurt me. But it doesn't hurt so bad." and they forgive, because they've forgotten the original pain. They don't remember how bad it hurt until they see glimpses of it in the person again. Then they are reminded and they step back, guarding themselves against the pain. This is especially true when the pain is so bad that it hurts to just think about sometimes. The only true pain is dulled by time. All other pain is internal, and a product of one's own devices.

Pain is a necessary part of life. If there was no pain, no hurt, there would be no joy or happiness. Without one, there cannot be the other. Yin and Yang.

Que Sera, Sera.

Peace,
Nome
